Hi all,

In this tutorial i will show you how to make a simple motion tween then i will go on to show you how to guide the motion tween around your canvas. When you want to look at a picture and it's to small, just zoom in on it useing ctrl and the mouse's middle button...
Firstly open flash if you haven't already.

Secondly draw a picture that you want to move around the screen.



Thirdly now convert it to a movie clip and name it whatever you want.



Now that you have it as a movie clip, go to your time line and add a key frame to and frame you want it. (do not put the next key frame on the second frame or it wont work)



Next click anywhere in between the start of the timeline to the key frame. (don't click on the last keyframe or it won't work)



Now click on the first frame, then click on the ball and drag it to where you want it to start.



Now click on the last frame and drag the ball to where ever you want.

Now on your keyboard press ctrl+Enter/apple+Return to view it. if you wish scroll down and i will show you how to guide the ball around the screen.

Now in your timeline area click on the Add Motion Guide button. it should make a new layer.



Now that you have your new layer click on the first frame and select the line tool.



After selecting your line tool draw a line at any length on the canvas. (make sure your in the motion guide layer when you do this)

Then drag one of the sides of the line to the center of the movie clip and wait for it to attach. The click on the last frame and do the same for the other side.





You can bend the line as much as you like and the movie clip shall follow it.
